01 / IDEA

PolRe is a sturdy and resilient textile material, consisting of an inner core which gives structure, and an external jacket that covers, protects and decorates. Load-bearing, containment, shielding, conductive. The virtuous bond of materials, which become structure and architecture, opens PolRe at different applications: roofs, partitions, walls, radiant walls, chairs, decorative items, accessories for fashion and leisure.

The net is the trace underlying inspiration and project connected wih this innovative material. Interweaving wise and craft of materials, textile expertise, technology and design. Interlace of ideas, techniques and intelligences that can converge in infinite design applications.

02 / IDENTITY

The idea to experiment with new materials to weave sinks the own cultural roots on the Mantuan territory and in the personal story of Nadia Zamporetti, concepteur of this product ultra-strong and lightweight. Fishing with nets on the Mincio, fishtraps and spreader beams, the woven willow fences, hammocks produced in the frame, the textile manufacturing experience in the sock district and rope production, constitute the basic elements of the product.

Enriches the identity character of the entire business project the deep connection of the territory with the magnificent Renaissance, a unique heritage that lives again imagining and interpreting new production scenarios.
The Renaissance was born in specific territories and in special conditions. At the court of the Gonzaga of Mantua there were ideal conditions for promoting new energies and knowledge, a force which then spread through the workshops, real interdisciplinary creative workshops, in which the major and minor arts were nourished by local talents with excellent results.

03 / PATENT

The patent, deposited in 2013, protects the invention and the technology which allows to coat with a textile tubular the structural core flat section in extruded polymer. The process gives the material a high mechanical resistance: the covering shirt is made with numerical control machines for the production of circular textures in natural and synthetic fibers, in perfect adherence to flat webbing.

The use of recycled and recyclable materials, such as plastic and textile fibers polymers, the reversibility of processes and the absence, in the production cycle, of bonding agents and adhesives make the material completely
sustainable and by no means for impacting the environment.

The patent filing also includes the possibility of equipping the PolRe of conduction systems and electrostatic fields, embedding them directly into the plastic webbing. This makes it possible to produce intelligent textures (smart textile), exclusive not only for the value of the used textile fibers, but also for their functionality and efficiency.

04 / STARTUP

Since 2015, the startup PolRe Textile Innovation packs innovative weaves from the patented material. The target is to create a sustainable textile which responds to the needs of innovation of the leading fashion brand and furnishings. To do it, we want to combine industrial innovation with traditional “know-how” of the Mantua territory.

The today’s evolution of the world economy has made it clear and inescapable the necessity to better investigate sense of enterprise: the direction, meaning specific vocation. Here then is the passion for doing, harmony and sense of beauty, local culture, humanism and the convergence of the most different talents reveal themself threads of a complex plot that weaves creating an unusual dialogue between business and territory.

Our business plan is the result of a research that has looked at international textile production in the last decade. The research has shown that the successful initiatives often reinterpret the production processes with each other, transferring skills and technologies from other sectors or reinventing sedimented practices elsewhere, creating a gigantic and ever-changing wireless phone of design and innovative production practices.
